The surveys „The situation of disadvantaged young people from the north of the Republic of Moldova and their social integration” and „Supervision of youth from residential institutions in their social and occupational integration”, were funded by Caritas Switzerland. The monitoring process targeted the project „Start into independent life” implemented by NGO „Demos” within September 2008 – August 2010. The research comprised the evaluation of the disadvantaged youth perceptions of life; theanalysis of problems experienced by the disadvantaged young people; the identification of needs of the disadvantaged young people; support provided by NGO "Demos" in the social integration of the disadvantaged youth and the submission of recommendations to facilitate their social integration.
