The study „Identification of secondary victims of drought in Moldova”
The study „Identification of secondary victims of drought in Moldova” was subsidized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic through Caritas Czech Republic and was conducted by Centre for Investigations and Consultation „SocioPolis” in collaboration with CBS Axa Ltd. The effects of the drought from 2007 were felt by the entire population of the country, but to a greater extent in the southern region of the country since this region is more vulnerable to the weather conditions. In these circumstances, the study aimed to find out the impact of drought on the poor living in urban areas from the southern of the Republic of Moldova in order to put forward some recommendations and helping strategies.
