The research „Knowledge, attitude and behaviour of the military personnel from the Republic of Moldova about HIV/AIDS and STD”, was conducted for UNDP Moldova within May - June 2009. The specific objectives of the research aimed at determining the attitude of conscripts towards people living with HIV / AIDS; sexual behavior analysis of conscripts; assessment of information needs about HIV/AIDS of military personnel and ways of getting this information but also the comparative analysis of knowledge, attitude and practices related to HIV/AIDS amongst military personnel ( 2006, 2007 and 2009).
