October 2015 Assessment of capacity building needs of women leaders from diaspora associations and capacity building plan

Within June-August 2015, the Centre for Investigations and Consultation „SocioPolis” within the framework of the project “PROMOTING AND PROTECTING MIGRANT WOMEN’S RIGHTS”, implemented by the UNO Entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women - UN Women, in collaboration with the Bureau for Diaspora Relations, have conducted a study targeting to analyze challenges experienced by Diaspora associations, communities and initiative groups in their communication with migrant women from the Republic of Moldova.


The survey focused on the analysis of activities conducted for migrant women and identification of needs in strengthening capacities of women-leaders of Diaspora organizations. To achieve the objectives of the study were used various research methods by which information was collected from migrant women leaders and associations, communities, initiative groups of Moldovan Diaspora.
